Nomination Criteria

• Athlete
       An athlete may be eligible for nomination into WSHS* Athletic Hall of Fame after five years
               following graduation from WSHS*

• Team
       A team may be eligible for nomination into WSHS* Athletic Hall of Fame after five years

• Coach
       A coach may be eligible for nomination into WSHS* Athletic Hall of Fame three years
               following retirement from the sport

• Special Contributor
       A special contributor eligible for nomination is an individual or organization who has
               helped to develop, inspire, and foster growth in athletics in the West Springfield
               High School and community.  

• Special Nominees
       The following West Springfield athletes, coaches, teams, or community contributor
               candidates shall be eligible for special nomination
                   Selected into any  state or national hall of fame
                   Achieved a world record
                   Has participated in the Olympics or World Games representing the
                           United States
                  Member of a professional or amateur national championship team
                          or as an individual
