Cowing Early Childhood?
Step 1: Application
Complete an application and submit it to the Cowing Office at 160 Park Street.
Step 2: Acceptance Into the Program
We have rolling admissions into the program and prioritize admissions based on age. Priority is given to children age 4 attending kindergarten the following year. We offer half day programs Monday-Thursday and full day for students already enrolled in the program based on a lottery. Acceptance for 2019-2020 will begin in April.
Step 3: Proof of Income
Once accepted, tuition for peer partners is calculated according to the Commonwealth of Mass. EEC Financial Assistance Scale. Please bring or send proof of one month’s income to the school office so that we may calculate the tuition for your child to attend our school.
Step 4: Fee Agreement & Tuition
Once you submit your income information, you will receive a fee agreement to sign and return to the school. The first month’s tuition must be paid with your signed Fee Agreement at the school office. Your child will not be able to attend Cowing Preschool until this payment has been made.
Step 5: Register
Once the tuition agreement has been signed, families will need to complete enrollment for their child using the West Springfield Public School’s new online enrollment application found at wsps.org/enrollment . If you do not have access to a computer or mobile device, you can register at the Office of the Registrar on the 4th floor of the West Springfield Main Office Building at 26 Central Street. Please call Erin Rogers at 263-3388 to make an appointment. You will need the following documents:

Also included is a parent/nurse conference regarding your child’s medical history and a social-emotional screening.
